1. Overview & Workshop Scope

Printman3D operates as a custom 3D printing service and direct workshop based in the United Kingdom. All products are manufactured layer-by-layer using additive manufacturing technology. By placing an order via printman3d.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Custom Orders & Personalised Items

We specialize in custom items, including photo-to-statuette prints, backlit lithophanes, and dual-perspective “Magic Name” keepsakes.

• Image Uploads & Copyright: When submitting photographs or files for custom processing, you confirm that you own the rights to the image or have explicit permission from the copyright holder. Printman3D assumes no liability for copyright infringement resulting from customer uploads.
• Image Quality: The final detail of statuettes and lithophanes relies directly on the resolution, lighting, and angle of the image provided. We reserve the right to request a replacement image if the uploaded photo is unsuitable for 3D slicing.

4. GDPR & Image Data Retention Policy

In accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection regulations, we respect your privacy and handle all customer-submitted media securely:

• Purpose of Processing: Uploaded images and generated 3D meshes (STLs, 3MFs) are used strictly for the purpose of slicing, previewing, and manufacturing your requested physical print.
• Automatic Image Purge: All original uploaded photographs and converted digital 3D model files are permanently deleted from our primary servers and databases 30 days after order fulfillment. This temporary retention window exists solely to allow for re-prints in the event of shipping damage.
• Right to Immediate Erasure: Customers may request the immediate deletion of their uploaded files prior to the 30-day window once their order has been completed by contacting the workshop directly.

5. 3D Printing Manufacturing Tolerances

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. Unlike smooth, mass-produced injection-molded plastic, 3D printed items feature visible layer lines, minor surface textures, and natural micro-variations. These are inherent characteristics of the process and are not considered defects.

6. Pricing & Payments

Prices for standard items, custom products, and flat-rate services are clearly listed on their respective department pages. Full payment must be completed before an item enters the production queue. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice.

7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations regarding custom and bespoke items:

• Personalised / Custom Items: Orders for custom products (including Lithophanes, Statuettes, and Magic Name prints) cannot be cancelled or refunded once production/slicing has commenced, as these items are made specifically to your personal specifications.
• Standard / Non-Personalised Items: Standard, non-custom items may be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original, unused condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Damaged or Faulty Goods: If your order arrives physically damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo proof so we can arrange a replacement.

8. Safety & Product Intended Use

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, products manufactured by Printman3D are designed as decorative items, display models, or workshop gadgets. They are not toys and are not intended for unmonitored play by young children due to potential small parts or choking hazards.

9. Delivery & Processing Times

Because items are printed to order, dispatch times may vary depending on current printer array availability and individual print run durations. Estimated lead times provided on product pages are guidelines and not guaranteed delivery dates.
